Italian equipment manufacturer Palazzani has introduced its “mypalazzani” web app for customers of its spider aerial platforms to obtain quick and free information about the machines on mobile devices.
The company, which is celebrating its 85th anniversary this year, said the philosophy behind the new app is: “Everything you need is just a click away from your smartphone!” The roll out of the app, available on Android, iOS and Windows platforms, follows the company’s assessment of its customers’ needs to be more and more connected,
“By scanning a QR code placed on the new Palazzani spider lifts,a the end user opens a page link which includes the manual, electrical-hydraulic schemes and spare parts book of its machine, as well as a list of easy-use and recovery videos, which provide a guide to use and troubleshoot the spider lifts quickly and in total autonomy,” said a statement from Palazzani.
“In case assistance is needed, the end user finds the contact and can quickly call, open a chat in WhatsApp or WeChat, or write an email to a Palazzani dealer’s after-sales staff or Palazzani after-sale staff.”
Whenever required, the app also has the provision of a shared folder in which temporary files can be uploaded or downloaded.
Cristian Marchina, vice general manager of Palazzani Industrie, said: “Customer care and satisfaction are the values that have always guided Palazzani Industrie. The ‘mypalazzani’ project is only the beginning of a process of information integration and sharing that will allow the end user to take more advantage of the operational performance of Palazzani products. The philosophy of our company has always been to design and build machinery with high quality and performance and we want our customers to be able to use every functionality of our spiders with simplicity, knowledge and immediacy.”
The company also said its next step will be to improve its PalConnect telematics service and integrate it with the MyPalazzani service.
