Energy solutions major Jubaili Bros has announced the appointment of a new Group CEO with Dr Marcus Schumacher taking over the responsibilities of the position from this month.
A statement from the company, which operates across the Middle East, Africa and Asia, said that Schumacher has more than 25 years of global experience across multiple industries.
He previously served with Johnson Controls as global vice president for product management and engineering, and general manager for industrial refrigeration products in the EMEA region, and before that as head of Johnson Controls’ Building Technology Group in the Middle East for more than three years.
Prior to Johnson Controls, he was general manager Middle East, North Africa and India for Eaton’s Oil & Gas electrical and process instrumentation business and had been head of technology for Aixtron.
The statement added that Schumacher has a master’s degree in electrical engineering and a PhD in material science, both from RWTH Aachen, a leading German university, and has attended several executive leadership programmes at Wharton Business School and Rice University in the USA.
