Off-the-road (OTR) tyre manufacturer BKT Tires has introduced the Earthmax SR 412, it new tyre designed for articulated dump trucks, loaders and dozers.
According to the company, the new tyre offers greater stability and resistance to damage as its main qualities due to a robust casing and all-steel belts, which enables the Earthmax SR 412 to transport heavy loads while avoiding tears and punctures. The tread has a unique design with an E-4 depth for high levels of traction and high heat resistance, while the square shoulder gives the new tyre a more solid grip on the ground.
Available in 29.5 R 25 and 750/65 R 25 sizes, the Earthmax SR 412 is designed for dump trucks, wheeled loaders, wheeled dozers and graders. BKT says the tyres in this range are “true partners in the toughest operations, guaranteeing these vehicles better load distribution on the ground and ensuring comfort, safety and stability” for end users.
Originally launched in 2008, the Earthmax range now numbers over 20 different product lines with numerous models and sizes. According to BKT, the Earthmax models are especially suitable for mining and quarrying applications and operations on large job-sites, owing to the all-steel structure which characterises all the tyres in this range.
