Eight JLG aerial lifts have been delivered to AJI Heavy Equipment Rentals (AJI Rentals) in the UAE, the manufacturer has announced.
Units in the order include three X17J Plus and one X26J Plus compact crawler boom lifts, three T12E Plus Toucan vertical mast lifts and one 1500AJP articulated boom lift – the first one available in the region and the largest JLG articulating self-propelled boom lift in AJI Rental’s fleet.

In May 2022, machinery rental specialist Johnson Arabia said that it was focused on creating a safer working environment for end users.
By adding these eight new JLG models to their fleet, Ian Hume, JLG’s Sales Director in MEAIR says AJI Rentals is well-stocked to meet the increasing demand for the unique, high-quality rental equipment in the region.
He says, “The Toucan 12E Plus possesses incredible outreach on a narrow base, allowing it into more difficult to access areas inside industrial sites, offering a distinct advantage in productivity.”
JLG’s new generation equipment has developed a lot over time, being more compact and easier to manage leading AJI Rentals to become the first rental company in the region to offer the 1500AJP, the firm said.
In June, JLG said it was expanding the augmented reality capabilities featured in its AR APP, and in July, Rapid Access announced it expanded its fleet with the addition of the 1500AJP, as well as one 1200SJP and two 1250AJP Ultra Booms.
