Comansa has officially launched Crane Mate, its new digital solution for fleet management and crane monitoring.
Crane Mate, which was presented at Bauma last month, provides real time technical information, location, alerts and productivity and maintenance parameters for tower cranes.
Additionally, amongst other features, it allows users to configure events, record machinery rental periods and the duration of construction projects.
According to the manufacturer, this new digital solution is set to result in improved efficiency as well as time and cost savings.
Crane Mate consists of a complete kit pre-installed in the cranes, in turnkey mode, made up of commercial devices that facilitate both replacements and maintenance on the one hand and retrofit on the other.
Its software comprises a platform developed in-house for secure online access, which offers a display with the machine’s settings and functions as well as other useful services.
All new tower crane orders now come with this digital tool while the tower crane manufacturer has said it will also offer free trials, online tutorials and technical support.
The company added that it plans to continue developing new features and value-added services over the coming years.
