HIMOINSA has introduced its highly anticipated HGY Series of power generators, powered by Yanmar engines. The series offers power outputs ranging from 1250kVA to 3500kVA, with future expansions planned to reach up to 4000kVA.
Among the engines featured is the GY175L family, which includes multiple models with 12 and 16 cylinders. Future developments will introduce models with 20 cylinders, all electronically controlled to ensure maximum efficiency and precision.
Francisco Gracia, President and CEO of HIMOINSA, emphasised the significance of this launch, stating, “The new HGY marks the start of a new chapter in the story of critical power generation. Design and engineering teams from both HIMOINSA and Yanmar have worked closely with our dealers and customers to develop an innovative solution that addresses the clear demand for energy-efficient, low-emission, and comprehensive power solutions. The launch of the HGY series is a significant step forward in reinforcing HIMOINSA’s growth in the global market.”
This collaboration between HIMOINSA and Yanmar has resulted in a substantial boost in industrial capacity for both companies. A new production line for the Yanmar GY engine has been launched at the Amagasaki factory in Japan, while a new HIMOINSA production centre in Spain has been established. The Spanish facility spans 17,000 square metres and has a production capacity of 1,000 generator units per year, further solidifying HIMOINSA’s global presence in the power solutions market.
The HGY Series offers a wide range of power outputs tailored for diverse applications such as emergency power (ESP), continuous power (PRP), data centre power (DCP), and other mission-critical sectors like healthcare and capacity markets. This comprehensive range ensures that customers can find the ideal power solution to meet their specific needs, making the HGY Series a versatile and forward-thinking addition to the global power generation.
