In September, DMP Réunion and MIM Mayotte, both part of the Potier Group and exclusive dealers of DEVELON, celebrated the success of their annual event, XTREM PRO 2024. This year, the gathering attracted nearly 1,000 visitors across the islands of Réunion and Mayotte, reinforcing their pivotal role in the construction and materials handling sectors in the Indian Ocean.
For the first time, XTREM PRO began with an exclusive cocktail reception, drawing 380 attendees in Réunion and almost 100 in Mayotte. This event not only provided a platform for informal discussions but also helped strengthen the bonds between DMP, MIM, and their clients. Pierre Le Merle, Development Director of the Potier Group, remarked that XTREM PRO 2024 reflects their commitment to excellence and their ability to unite industry professionals around their vision.
The event featured dynamic demonstrations of DEVELON’s cutting-edge machinery, including the DX100W-7 wheeled excavator, DX57W-7 wheeled excavator, and the DX245NHD-7 crawler excavator. These innovative solutions showcased DEVELON’s commitment to meeting the growing demands of the construction industry, solidifying DMP and MIM’s status as strategic partners in the region.
The excitement continued in French Guiana, where VMI Guyane, also a Potier Group subsidiary, held the second edition of XTREM PRO on October 11 and 12. The event highlighted the launch of the DD130-7 dozer, a groundbreaking addition to the local market. Stéphane Dieu, DEVELON Europe’s Excavators and Dozers product manager, attended the event, where the first DD130-7 dozer was sold on-site, with a second sale pending.
Visitors had the chance to test DEVELON’s flagship machinery, including the DX100W-7, DX235LC-7 crawler excavator, DL200-7 wheel loader, and the new DD130-7 dozer. Static displays allowed attendees to closely examine the design and functionality of models like the DX235LC-7 and DX85-7 compact excavator.
Much like the Réunion and Mayotte events, the French Guiana gathering began with an evening dedicated to fostering relationships among key players in the region’s construction industry, providing an opportunity to discuss DEVELON’s innovative solutions.
With a workforce of 450 and a commitment to delivering high-performance solutions tailored to local needs, the Potier Group, along with its dealers DMP, MIM, and VMI, is poised for continued growth. Jean-Luc Potier, Chairman of the Group, emphasizes the importance of their customer-centric approach, stating that with them, it’s about the DMP Spirit. As they expand their presence in the Indian Ocean and French Guiana, the Potier Group remains dedicated to integrating the latest technological innovations into their offerings.
The success of XTREM PRO 2024 underscores the vital role of DEVELON’s partners in advancing the construction industry across these regions, highlighting their commitment to excellence and innovation.
