JLG has introduced new options for its ES electric slab scissor lift range, E18 driveable vertical mast lifts, and E18MSP stock picker. These updates include standard AC drive motors and lithium-ion battery options, aligning with the requirements of zero-emission and noise-controlled job sites, said the leading manufacturer of mobile elevating work platforms and telehandlers.
As part of this development, the ES1932, ES2632, ES2646, and ES3246 scissor lifts, along with the DaVinci™ all-electric AE1932 model, will now feature AC drive motors as standard. These permanent magnet AC drive motors provide peak efficiency through reduced energy consumption, require less battery draw, and are virtually maintenance-free. The recently launched ES4046 model already includes this feature as standard in Europe.
Selected ES scissor lifts, as well as the E18 vertical lifts and the E18 stock picker, are now available with lithium-ion battery options. Customers can choose between the Lithium option, which features one battery for most models, and Lithium+, which includes an additional battery to enhance duty cycles further. These new batteries offer zero performance degradation, fast charging capabilities, and an extended lifespan.
This upgrade applies to the ES1330L, ES1530L, and ES4046 models in the first quarter of 2025, with the ES1932, ES2632, ES2646, and ES3246 models following later in the year. The E18 vertical lifts and the E18 stock picker are already equipped with these options.
