CDE, a leading provider of wet processing solutions for the natural and waste recycling sectors, has launched a new vodcast series titled “TalkingTons,” designed to share industry insights and expertise.
The first episode, released today, marks the beginning of a monthly series that will spotlight key topics such as waste recycling, industrial sands, and water management. Hosted by Lauren McMaster, CDE’s Senior Marketing Manager, the vodcast will feature CDE’s regional experts discussing emerging industry trends, challenges, and opportunities across CDE’s five strategic markets.
Lauren McMaster highlighted the initiative’s broader purpose, stating: “At CDE, we share a common purpose to create our best world a ton at a time. With over 30 years of experience and unmatched expertise, we are committed to delivering pioneering technology while also sharing our knowledge to support the creation of a circular economy. We certainly do have tons to talk about, and this vodcast reflects our dedication to equipping our team, customers, and the wider industry with the knowledge to drive meaningful change.”
The first episode features a panel of CDE regional experts, including Eunan Kelly (Europe), Regis Marty (France, Belgium, and Switzerland), and Garry Stewart (Ireland). The discussion focuses on quarry waste and how the industry has shifted its perspective on overburden, scalpings, and crushed rock fines. Quarry operators are increasingly looking to process and repurpose byproducts, reducing stockpiled material while unlocking new commercial opportunities.
The episode also explores how processing quarry byproducts can extend quarry lifespans and contribute to environmental sustainability by moving materials higher up the value chain and reducing carbon emissions.
With new episodes launching monthly, TalkingTons aims to serve as a valuable knowledge-sharing platform for professionals across the aggregates, waste recycling, and wet processing industries.
