At Bauma 2025, the world’s leading construction machinery exhibition in Munich, CIFA solidified its reputation as a pioneer in sustainable construction solutions by unveiling a range of groundbreaking equipment and initiatives, underlining the company’s strong commitment to environmental responsibility.
CIFA’s participation in Bauma was entirely carbon-neutral, offsetting all emissions generated during the event through investments in two significant sustainability initiatives: the Siro Negri Forest project in Italy and the Renew Solar Power Private Limited project in India.
Collaborating with LifeGate, a specialist in corporate sustainability, CIFA calculated and compensated emissions from various activities, including transportation, stand setup, and energy consumption.
The Siro Negri Forest initiative supports biodiversity in the Lombard Park of the Ticino Valley, one of the last remaining lowland forests in Italy, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Concurrently, the Indian solar project provides 927 MW of renewable electricity, significantly cutting greenhouse gas emissions and bolstering socio-economic development.
“Sustainability is at the core of our vision,” said Davide Cipolla, CEO of CIFA, emphasizing the importance of creating positive global impacts through responsible corporate practices.
Energya E10: Fully Electric Concrete Mixer
At the forefront of CIFA’s sustainable technologies was the Energya E10 electric concrete mixer, which debuted alongside the Mercedes-Benz eArocs 400 electric truck. Utilizing innovative BEE (Battery Electric Equipment) technology, the E10 operates exclusively on integrated lithium batteries. It guarantees autonomy for a full workday and features the KERS (Kinetic Energy Recovery System) for battery recharging during braking, greatly reducing environmental and noise impacts.
The mixer’s electric induction motor replaces traditional hydraulic systems, eliminating the dependency on truck power take-offs and simplifying maintenance. Its iconic Italian design, inspired by aeronautics, positions it as a stylish yet practical solution ideal for urban and densely populated areas.
Steeltech 20-Meter Truck-Mounted Pumps
CIFA also introduced its new Steeltech range of truck-mounted pumps (K20L, K24L, and K28L). These machines offer simplified maintenance, intuitive controls, and enhanced comfort through the V-Stop vibration reduction system, significantly improving operator experience and reducing component wear. Their adaptability allows configurations with 2- or 3-axle trucks, optimizing operational flexibility and site-specific customization.
The new pumps promise operational efficiency, reduced operating costs, and increased reliability, positioning them as essential assets for residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
LIZARD Multipurpose Vehicle
Highlighting its versatility, CIFA presented the LIZARD, a multipurpose mining vehicle tailored for underground construction. With its compact modular chassis and customizable attachments, it efficiently transports concrete, liquids, and solid materials in challenging underground environments. Available in diesel and fully electric versions (E-LIZARD), it supports safe operations with advanced fire suppression systems and low-flammability oils. The electric variant further enhances its eco-friendly credentials, ensuring continuous operation through simultaneous battery charging and operation when connected to a power grid.
Magnum MK35H: Lightweight Concrete Mixer-Pump
Rounding off the remarkable equipment launches, the Magnum MK35H concrete mixer-pump featured an innovative 35-meter carbon fiber boom. Mounted on an 8×4 Euro 6 chassis, the MK35H offers enhanced maneuverability, superior pumping capacity up to 90 m³/h, and an intuitive Easytronic control system. The lightweight boom significantly reduces fuel consumption, operating and maintenance costs, and offers extensive reach with minimal height deployment.
“Our new equipment reflects our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and practicality. Each machine launched at Bauma is designed not only to meet but exceed the demands of modern construction,” concluded Cipolla.
Visitors experienced these industry-leading innovations firsthand at CIFA’s outdoor area stand FS 1105/4, making Bauma 2025 a landmark event for the future of sustainable construction.
