CONMIX, a leading concrete manufacturer and a key division of Bukhatir Industrial Group, has inaugurated a new state-of-the-art Ready Mix Concrete facility in Abu Dhabi’s Al Mafraq Industrial Area, marking a significant milestone in its strategic growth across the UAE.
The launch of the new high-capacity plant — CONMIX’s fifth Ready Mix facility — adds to the company’s established presence in Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, and Dubai (Al Quoz and Dubai Industrial Park). It reinforces the company’s commitment to supporting the UAE’s ambitious construction and infrastructure development goals.
The official opening ceremony was attended by Sheikh Salah Bukhatir, Chairman of Bukhatir Group, along with senior board members, Ayman Ahmed, CEO of Bukhatir Industrial Investment, Tim Senior, General Manager of CONMIX, and members of the project team responsible for delivering the facility.
Speaking at the event, Sheikh Salah Bukhatir emphasised the deeper significance of the launch: “This facility reflects more than just business expansion, it symbolises our Group’s enduring commitment to building infrastructure that supports the nation’s ambitions. For over five decades, Bukhatir Group has stood as a cornerstone of national progress.

CONMIX has been an integral part of this legacy. With the inauguration of this new facility in Abu Dhabi, we reaffirm our dedication to contributing meaningfully to the UAE’s development.”
Ayman Ahmed added that the company has played a consistent role in the country’s transformation: “Since 1975, CONMIX has been instrumental in shaping the UAE’s modern landscape. Its concrete solutions have supported the creation of some of the country’s most iconic structures and infrastructure.”
Strategically located in Abu Dhabi’s key industrial zone, the new facility is engineered for high-volume output and rapid response to project needs. It features advanced German-engineered batching systems, a dedicated logistics network for efficient delivery, and a highly trained operational team. With an annual production capacity of over 500,000 cubic metres, the plant is designed to support large-scale, time-sensitive developments across the capital and beyond.
Tim Senior, General Manager of CONMIX, noted that the launch reflects the company’s broader capabilities and long-term vision: “This isn’t just the launch of a new plant, it’s a continuation of our legacy. At CONMIX, we deliver more than Ready Mix Concrete.
