Tadano Ltd. has announced a series of senior management updates for its European operations, underlining the company’s focus on stability, growth and long-term investment in Germany.
The changes apply to Tadano Demag GmbH in Zweibrücken and Tadano Faun GmbH in Lauf, as well as their subsidiaries. Manitex operations in Italy, acquired recently, are unaffected and will continue under their current management.
New leadership appointments
Effective 1 October 2025, Noriaki Yashiro will assume the role of president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Tadano Demag GmbH and Tadano Faun GmbH, taking on full responsibility for Tadano’s European operations.
Supporting Yashiro, Tadano has reinforced the German leadership team with Dean Barley now overseeing sales, customer support, marketing and quality control in Europe, alongside his existing roles as president and CEO of Tadano America Corp., Manitex International and Tadano Mantis Corp.
As Tadano Ltd.’s chief technology officer (CTO) Hiroyuki Goda will also head research and development for mobile crane engineering in Europe, ensuring innovation is rooted in the German sites.
Finally, Stefan Matthaei will take charge of production, logistics and purchasing for Tadano’s German facilities.
Toshiaki Ujiie, president and CEO of Tadano Ltd., said: “These additions bring the right experience to drive growth in Europe. We are making significant investments in both our locations in Germany to support our customers. Customer needs are at the heart of these leadership additions, and their goal is to strengthen confidence of our European customers in Tadano.”
The appointments come as Tadano completes its production transfer in Germany and shifts its focus toward operational growth and customer support.
Strategic investments in Zweibrücken and Lauf
Earlier this year, Tadano confirmed multimillion-euro investments across its German sites to secure competitiveness and long-term stability. At Zweibrücken, the company has expanded its site with new land acquisitions, opened a state-of-the-art repair workshop, upgraded production processes and enhanced logistics.
Meanwhile in Lauf, Tadano is constructing a new European spare parts centre – scheduled to be operational in mid-2026 – along with expanded production and storage capacity and new boom assembly lines.
Together, these leadership changes and infrastructure investments reinforce Tadano’s ambition to strengthen its European footprint while setting global standards in crane technology.
