New Holland is extending its light equipment portfolio with the unveiling of the C314X Electric Mini Track Loader, a prototype machine offering zero emissions and low noise performance for material handling in sensitive environments.
Designed for landscaping, agriculture, and residential construction, the fully electric C314X is powered by a 23.5 kWh lithium-ion battery driving three electric motors — two for propulsion and one for hydraulics. The model delivers performance comparable to its diesel equivalent while offering a significantly lower total cost of ownership thanks to reduced maintenance, no fuel costs, and zero energy consumption when idle.
With a rated operating capacity of 460 kg and a hinge-pin height of 2.2 m, the compact stand-on loader is available in two undercarriage widths — 1,026 mm (wide track) and just 890 mm (narrow track) — making it ideal for working through garden gates, doorways, and tight job sites.
Francesca Asteggiano of Europe Construction Brands said the move aligns with New Holland’s strategy to deliver more sustainable and efficient solutions: “We launched the C314 two years ago, and it has become known for its excellent features. Today, we’re developing an electric version to meet growing demand for quieter, more compact machines — reinforcing our commitment to sustainability and innovation.”
The C314X prototype combines the agility and versatility of New Holland’s mini track loaders with the benefits of an electric drive system — including instant torque, smooth hydraulic response, and near-silent operation. Electro-hydraulic controls make the machine ready for immediate use as soon as the operator steps onto the platform.
Ideal for livestock and horticultural farms, landscape contractors, and residential construction, the C314X supports a wide range of attachments for digging, loading, drilling, and material handling.
The machine makes its public debut at Agritechnica 2025, with orders opening later this year and deliveries expected to begin in Spring 2026.
