The LA28 Games has appointed Sunbelt Rentals as their official rental equipment provider. The partnership aims to support the sustainable and efficient transformation of existing Los Angeles sites into competition venues by supplying essential gear such as power, HVAC, heavy machinery, fencing, and scaffolding.
Sunbelt Rentals’ resources and expertise will be leveraged to execute complex event infrastructure without new permanent construction, aligning with LA28’s sustainability goals. The organisers of the upcoming LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games have chosen Sunbelt Rentals as their rental equipment provider for the event.
The Games will utilise temporary venues and adapted existing ones. Notably, Los Angeles will become the first Olympics host city to avoid constructing any new permanent infrastructure since 1948.
Sunbelt Rentals will provide a comprehensive range of equipment for the 40+ competition venues in Los Angeles, including power, HVAC, heavy machinery, ground protection, temporary fencing, and scaffolding.

The LA Memorial Coliseum, built in 1923, served as a venue for the 1932 and 1984 Olympic Games and will once again host the Games in 2028.
“We’re looking forward to bringing these venues to life with our deep expertise in entertainment and sporting events and ability to execute at scale,” said the firm’s Chief Executive, Brendan Horgan.
LA28, Chief Executive, Reynold Hoover added, “LA28’s goal was to deliver a safe, circular, and efficient buildout of our competition venues.”
With a presence spanning 1,400 locations across North America and 35 in the greater Los Angeles area, Sunbelt Rentals will deploy a dedicated team to ensure the smooth operation of the games throughout their duration.
