JCB has appointed Asas AlJood as its official Power Products dealer in Saudi Arabia, re-establishing and expanding its operations in the Kingdom as demand for power products and industrial equipment grows across construction, infrastructure, logistics and other sectors.
The partnership will give JCB a dedicated sales and aftersales network across Saudi Arabia, with Asas AlJood allocating facilities, depots and servicing warehouses to support the manufacturer’s Power Products range.
The move comes as reconstruction and infrastructure activity increases across the Kingdom, creating potential demand from contractors, government entities, municipalities, NGOs, infrastructure developers and logistics companies.
Asas AlJood’s existing network of facilities is strategically distributed across Saudi Arabia, providing access to major cities and regions. Under the new agreement, this footprint will be used to support the distribution of JCB equipment and spare parts, as well as service operations for customers.
The partnership was formally announced at a signing ceremony held at JCB’s World Headquarters in Rocester, Staffordshire.
Saud AlGannas, CEO/President of Asas AlJood, said: “We are proud to partner with JCB, a globally known and respected name in field. Together, with JCB’s expertise, capabilities, and our local market knowledge, and capabilities, we aim to set a new benchmark for power solutions and customer support in Saudi Arabia”
JCB Sales MD Tim Burnhope said: “We are pleased to welcome Asas AlJood as our dealer in KSA. There is huge potential for growth in the country as reconstruction and development projects gathers momentum.”
Nationwide support network
The new dealership will be operated by Asas AlJood KSA and will provide customers with access to JCB Power Products, alongside parts and servicing.
The facilities will include an outdoor equipment display yard, parts warehouse, fully equipped service workshop and administrative offices. The setup is intended to provide customers with a single network for equipment sales, parts availability and technical support.
The breadth of the network will be particularly relevant to customers operating across Saudi Arabia’s major construction and infrastructure markets, where access to equipment and aftersales support can be critical to maintaining project schedules.
JCB’s renewed presence comes as the Kingdom continues to invest in infrastructure and development projects, with power equipment required across construction sites, logistics operations and public-sector applications.
The company expects the customer base for the Power Products operation to include contractors, government bodies, municipalities, NGOs and logistics providers.
For Asas AlJood, the agreement adds JCB’s Power Products portfolio to an industrial equipment operation that has been active in Saudi Arabia for two decades.
The company provides industrial equipment and associated services to customers across a range of sectors, alongside solutions intended to improve operational efficiency.
The appointment gives JCB an established local partner and a physical support infrastructure across the Kingdom, while providing Asas AlJood with responsibility for the manufacturer’s Power Products sales and support activities in the Saudi market.
With reconstruction, infrastructure development and logistics activity continuing to generate demand for equipment, the new dealership is intended to strengthen JCB’s ability to serve customers across Saudi Arabia through a combination of local distribution, parts availability and service support.
