Mini crane manufacturer Jekko recently celebrated a double milestone, marking 20 years of building its machines with the delivery of its 2000th crane.
The milestone was reached during the company’s participation in the JDL exhibition in France earlier this month, where it delivered the 2000th Jekko spider crane to French dealer ATN Platforms. Jekko mini spider cranes are also in use in the Middle East and are part of the rental fleets of companies such as UAE-based AJI Rentals.
The company, based in Treviso, Italy, said the double landmarks were reasons to cheer in a year that has been difficult for the industry in many aspects.
“It has been 20 years since Jekko developed the first model of a mini crane in 2000. From that moment on, the company has always been betting and investing in new models and new lifting solutions, supported and rewarded by a growing interest coming from the market, gaining an important place among the most relevant mini crane producers worldwide,” said a statement from Jekko.
The 2000th unit is a new SPX650 model, the latest Jekko machine launched in July during a live streaming presentation. This mini crane has the latest technical solutions and innovations and has already drawn the attention of experts, promising to become a flagship model of the Jekko range, said the company.
