Develon, previously known as Doosan Construction Equipment, believes it is set to make a significant impact with its debut at the Resource & Waste Management (RWM) show in September.
On Stand ME-A120, the company will unveil its latest advancements in waste and recycling equipment, showcasing the innovative technologies driving the industry forward.
The RWM show, held at the NEC in Birmingham, UK, from 11th-12th September 2024, is part of the Environmental Services & Solutions Expo (ESS). This prestigious event includes five concurrent expos: the Energy, Fuels & Decarbonisation Expo (EFD), Water Resource Management Expo (WRM), Contamination & Land Remediation Expo (CLR), and Air Pollution Control Expo (APC). As the world’s foremost event for net-zero and decarbonisation strategies, resource management, circular economy, and environmental emergency response, ESS attracts over 12,000 visitors from the UK and internationally. It serves as a hub for industry pioneers, visionary entrepreneurs, and eco-driven professionals to collaborate, innovate, and inspire a sustainable future.
Develon’s portfolio includes a diverse range of equipment tailored for waste and recycling applications. Highlighted at the RWM show will be the company’s award-winning DL-7 range of wheel loaders, designed for efficiency and safety in hazardous waste handling environments. These loaders, with capacities ranging from 1.9 to 6.4 m³, can be equipped with a Waste and Recycling Kit to protect operators from airborne dust, dirt, and other dangerous particulates.
Award-Winning DL-7 Wheel Loaders
The DL-7 wheel loaders represent a new generation of machines with award-winning designs. Powered by Stage V compliant engines, these loaders deliver higher productivity, increased fuel efficiency, and a low cost of ownership, alongside an enhanced operator experience. The redesigned buckets, offering up to 7% more capacity, facilitate faster loading with standard capacities from 1.9 to 6.4 m³, boosting productivity across various material-handling applications.
In addition to the DL-7 wheel loaders, Develon will present the DX230WMH-7 and DX250WMH-7 material handlers, weighing 24 and 25.6 tonnes respectively. These Stage V compliant machines are engineered for the most demanding material sorting and handling tasks, including scrap metal, solid waste, recycling, demolition, and forestry. Both models are equipped with front and rear stabilisers, and specialised booms and arms for optimal performance in material handling.
Develon’s extensive product line also features mini, crawler, and wheeled excavators with operating weights from 1 to 100 tonnes, articulated dump trucks with payloads up to 41 tonnes, and compact wheel loaders ranging from 3.5 to 5 tonnes.
By showcasing its latest waste and recycling equipment at the RWM show, Develon says it is underscoring its commitment to advancing the industry through innovation and sustainability. The company’s comprehensive range of high-performance machinery is poised to meet the growing demands of modern waste management and recycling, driving efficiency and environmental benefits across the sector.
