Universal Rubber Belts Manufacturing has inaugurated a state-of-the-art production facility in Dubai, providing a locally manufactured source of precision-engineered rubber belts for the automotive and industrial sectors across the GCC.
The new “Made in Dubai” plant is designed to reduce reliance on imported power transmission components, enhancing supply chain resilience with shorter lead times, consistent quality, and application-specific engineering for regional distributors and OEMs.
“Universal Rubber Belt Manufacturing is addressing a long-standing gap in the regional market: the need for reliable, locally manufactured rubber belts that meet global technical standards,” said Mahyar Razaghi, CEO, Universal Rubber Belt Manufacturing. “Our production is tailored to serve both automotive aftermarket distributors and industrial OEMs with durable, high-performance solutions.”
The company’s portfolio covers a broad spectrum of applications, including: Automotive belts – V-belts, multi-rib belts, and timing belts for passenger and commercial vehicles; Industrial belts – power transmission solutions for pumps, compressors, and HVAC systems; Specialised options – high-temperature, oil-resistant, and anti-static belts; and Customisation – private-label and application-specific engineering for regional partners.
Equipped with advanced compounding technology, precision moulding systems, and stringent quality-control protocols, the facility produces belts in compliance with ISO, SAE, and DIN standards. It has been designed for both high-volume series production and low-batch specialised runs, meeting the diverse requirements of clients across industries.
From its Dubai base, the company will leverage the UAE’s logistics connectivity to provide rapid distribution across Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain, with full support for recurring supply agreements and export compliance.
The launch positions Universal Rubber Belts Manufacturing as a key regional player in automotive and industrial supply chains, at a time when localisation and resilience are becoming increasingly critical for manufacturers and distributors in the Gulf.
