A new telehandler from HİDROMEK has been recognised with the iF Design Award, marking the 13th time that the Turkish heavy equipment maker has bagged the recognition from one the world’s most prestigious design awards.
The iF Design Awards, which cover many criteria, are evaluated by an independent jury consisting of 129 leading international design and sustainability experts. In the competition, where candidates are reviewed holistically, considering factors such as sustainability, innovation, and functionality, HİDROMEK’s new telehandler model HMK 18-40 TH claimed the top spot.
With this award, HİDROMEK has also increased its total number of international design awards to 39, the company said, adding that it continues to “make a difference in the industry by designing unique, innovative, and user-friendly construction machinery” through its two R&D centres and Design Studio.
As a leading vehicle design studio in the industry, it “combines aesthetics, engineering, and user experience to deliver automotive-standard work in the construction machinery sector”, said HIDROMEK, adding that it embraces a user-focused design approach based on customer expectations and market trends and develops its products accordingly. The basis of this approach is HİDROMEK’s goal of creating the most suitable working environment for its operators.
