Bobcat has strengthened its presence in the logistics and warehousing equipment markets in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region with the launch of its largest diesel forklifts to date, unveiling the new DV180S-9 and DV250S-9 models at LogiMAT 2026 in Stuttgart, Germany.
The introduction marks a significant expansion of the company’s heavy-duty material handling portfolio, aimed at meeting growing regional demand for high-capacity, transport-efficient equipment.

Designed for demanding applications
Designed for demanding industrial applications, the DV180S-9 and DV250S-9 offer lifting capacities of 18 and 25 tonnes respectively, both at a 1,200 mm load centre. The machines are powered by the HDI DL08V diesel engine and equipped with a ZF four-speed powershift transmission and Kessler drive axle, delivering the durability and performance required for intensive operations across sectors such as ports, construction, logistics and heavy industry.
A key highlight for Middle East operators is the DV180S-9’s compact design. With a width of less than 2,550 mm, the model can be transported without special permits in many markets, helping reduce logistics costs and improve fleet flexibility—an important advantage in a region where mobility between sites is critical.

Operator comfort in focus
Bobcat said the new forklifts are engineered with a strong focus on reliability, load stability and operator comfort. The cab design aims to minimise fatigue during long shifts, while maintaining safe operating speeds even under full load. These features are expected to resonate with MEA customers operating in high-temperature, high-intensity environments where uptime and operator efficiency are essential.
The launch reflects a broader shift in the regional market, where demand is increasing for machines capable of handling heavier loads without compromising manoeuvrability or ease of transport. By entering the high-capacity segment, Bobcat is positioning itself to better serve large-scale industrial operators as well as rental and fleet companies across the Middle East and Africa.

Wide range of material handlers
Alongside the new diesel forklifts, Bobcat showcased a wide range of material handling equipment at LogiMAT, including electric forklifts, reach trucks, pallet trucks and stackers. Highlights included lithium-ion electric models such as the B18NT, as well as warehouse solutions designed to support efficient storage and logistics operations.
With the introduction of the DV180S-9 and DV250S-9, Bobcat continues to broaden its offering in the MEA region, focusing on productivity, durability and operational efficiency in increasingly demanding applications.
