The Construction Machinery Middle East (CMME) editorial team has revealed the shortlist for the CMME Awards 2026 after the first round of eliminations from the nominations. Following the completion of this part of the judging process, the editorial team is announcing a partial shortlist of the companies, individuals and projects that will be recognised at the awards gala this week.
The full shortlist, honourable achievement recipients and winners in each category will only be revealed on the night of the CMME Awards on 25 June at the Ritz Carlton JBR, Dubai, the CMME editorial team confirmed.
Nearly 100 nominations were submitted to the awards programme’s 26 categories when nominations closed. Following the close of nominations, the editorial team initiated the judging process which comprised two rounds of eliminations. The first round of eliminations has been conducted by the CMME editorial team, following which nominations will be deliberated by independent judges for study.
The CMME team also said that certain categories have been split and expanded in a bid to better compare like-for-like nominations, which will be reflected on the night of the awards gala.
