Volvo CE has announced that net sales have increased by 23% year-on-year with the release of its latest quarterly results. According to the manufacturer, markets outside Europe and China have demonstrated high activity and strong growth for Q3, 2022 due to continued development in the commodity and infrastructure segments, resulting in a 23% increase in net sales compared to 2021 and a greater increase than the previous quarter. Caterpillar Work Tools Division has announced new Tilt Rotate System (TRS) models for Cat 302.7 through 310 Next Generation Mini Excavators. The new TRS4 and TRS8 S45 plus updated TRS6 models allow attached work tools to rotate 360 degrees and tilt 40 degrees side-to-side, the manufacturer says, enabling the machine to reach more work areas from a single position, while maneuvring around obstructions when excavating, grading ditches, sorting recycle materials, or placing pipe. Trackunit has connected more than 1.4 million assets globally, almost tripling the number of assets it has linked in the last year, the company has announced. According to the technology provider connected assets have risen from less than 500,000 a year ago, setting a new milestone and representing a significant spike in adoption of its software. Tadano will debut a new 70t crane with increased lifting capacities at Bauma as part of its innovation campaign, the manufacturer has announced. According to the firm the new Tadano AC 4.070-2 All-Terrain Crane comes with enough power to transport its sizeable maximum counterweight of 11.9t by itself while staying within an axle load limit of 12t. In addition, it can still manage 4.4t when the axle load is reduced to 10t instead. Dubai-based MYCRANE has agreed a partnership with PV-E Cranes of the Netherlands, allowing the company to offer zero-emissions cranes for sale and rent on its digital platform. Engineered and manufactured in the Netherlands, PV-E’s emission-free crawler cranes are fully electric, battery-operated and can run for 10-12 hours on a single charge. The product range consists of 80, 100, 160 and 250-tonne crawler cranes, with several boom options such as fixed jibs, luffing jibs and heavy duty jibs.
