Global mining equipment specialist, Epiroc has released its new Boomer E10 and E20 drill rigs, marking a breakthrough for automated face drilling rigs, the company has revealed. The new drills rigs come with optional battery-electric driveline for zero-emission tramming and, as part of Epiroc’s Smart series, are equipped with automation features that increase operator safety and productivity, the company says. T-Mobile has been working with InDro Robotics, a leading Canadian air and ground robotics research and development company, to make the world safer through improved connectivity for industrial inspection robots, the company has announced. According to the mobile telecommunications provider, they have successfully completed trials using T-Mobile 5G to remotely connect and operate Indro Robotics’ ground-based industrial inspection robots, testing security and inspection capabilities at electrical substations. Dingli has added new members to its large electric scissor series, focusing on increased battery life and high load capacity. The JCPT1912DCL and JCPT1712DCL, which were recently added to the lightweight-designed series offer 500kg of load capacity and come equipped with a 48V420Ah high-capacity battery pack for long-endurance operations, the company says.
