Caterpillar and its regional dealer Al-Bahar are exhibiting the American giant’s equipment for the oil and gas sector at the 19th edition of the ADIPEC exhibition, which is taking place in Abu Dhabi.

Now in its fifth consecutive year of participating at the event, which is a global meeting point for professionals in the oil and gas sector, the Al-Bahar/Caterpillar stand this year focuses on connected assets and has a range of equipment on display.

According to Al-Bahar, the stand, which is in Booth 9430, is highlighting technologies such as Predictive Analysis and Advanced Condition Monitoring, showing where operators can improve uptime to reduce operational costs. There are also live demonstrations throughout the day, which visitors can attend to get a first-hand experience of the advantages these technologies provide as well as to explore the latest equipment on offer from Caterpillar in the oil and gas segment.

“Technology has revolutionised every possible industry and task force today. We along with Caterpillar are proud to host industry-leading innovations that offer our customers the benefit of connecting the dots of the business they are heading, using our scalable technology umbrella – Cat Connect,” said Shahul Hameed, marketing manager, Al-Bahar.

“We have our complete range of durable and reliable power products. Backed by technology driving data to profits, we are equipped to meet the demands of any specific application. Al-Bahar looks at ADIPEC as a great forum that allows us to further discuss and highlight our technologies, enabling us to take it to newer markets and customers.”

Christopher Berrie from Caterpillar’s sales team in the Middle East, added: “ADIPEC grows each year, and each year we are excited to attend alongside our local dealer Mohamed Abdulrahman Al-Bahar. ADIPEC provides a great forum to meet and listen to our valued customers, share ideas and explore areas we can utilise the latest advances in technology to provide the best solutions. With an ever-changing landscape it’s great to walk around the exhibition and see the innovations in safety and technology that is being showcased.”

The Middle East is an important region for Caterpillar Oil & Gas, and working closely with Al-Bahar, Caterpillar is helping support all project opportunities, whether it is a requirement for a Reciprocating Engine, a gas turbine or solar energy, Al-Bahar added.

The comprehensive product support solutions offered by Al-Bahar are also a key highlight of the stand. Cat Remanufactured products, parts availability and genset servicing solutions offered by Al-Bahar are among the key aspects of interest among visitors.
