German concrete equipment specialist Putzmeister has developed a new app for its concrete pumps that make it easier and more productive for operators and service technicians to work with the machines.
The Sany-owned manufacturer said in a statement hat the new Experts App it has developed, which is able for free download on both Apple and Android platforms, “makes you an expert for Putzmeister equipment” by summarising the global know-how of the pump manufacturer in helpful videos, documents, and calculators.
“Especially, operators and service technicians profit from the app and get help in their daily work with the machines. They can access detailed information on machine functions, instructions for the correct installation and operation of Putzmeister machines, tips on maintenance and problem solving as well as information on accessories around the clock,” said Putzmeister.
The manufacturer added that with the new update, there is now the possibility of a full-text search to find the information that users are looking in an easy and fast way. In addition, the update allows users to select the required local unit (imperial units for the US market, metric units for the rest of the world) for using the calculator. Detailed information about customers’ own machines, such as data sheets and support variants, are now available directly in the app, informed Putzmesiter.
