Johnson Arabia recently added a new Grove GMK5250XL to its fleet. This mobile crane is said to have one of the longest booms on five axles and excellent manoeuvrability.
According to Johnson Arabia, these features make it “a fantastic choice” for oil & gas and urban development projects.
In addition to this, as the UAE moves into more sustainable solutions, Johnson Arabia says the Grove GMK 520XL allows contractors to include its equipment as part of their own sustainability endeavours as the single engine of this crane enables 30% lower diesel consumption compared to its older counterparts.
The lower fuel consumption also contributes to reduced maintenance and operational costs.
Finally, the mobile crane enables heavy lifts even when utilising asymmetric outrigger positioning because of its variable outrigger positioning system.
“This is a very useful feature when there are load or access restrictions on certain sites or if positioning is tricky. Along with the expert engineers at Johnson Arabia and the new Grove achieving any lift is possible,” said the firm in a statement to CMME.
