Al Marwan Machinery hosted a grand gala dinner last week at the JA Resort to unveil its latest brand line-up for 2025 and celebrate its partnerships with key clients and OEMs. The event also marked the introduction of new machine types and several significant additions to Al Marwan’s brand portfolio, reinforcing its position as a leading regional machinery player.
Motaz al Zaiem of Al Marwan Machinery welcomed guests to the event, expressing gratitude to the company’s partners and clients. Before highlighting Al Marwan’s award-winning rescue work during the Sharjah floods earlier this year, he introduced two innovative additions to its inventory — high-bed and amphibious excavators from Kobelco.
Kobelco, a long-standing partner of Al Marwan for over two decades, received special recognition during the evening. Nazaki Kentaro, Managing Director of Kobelco, praised the partnership, saying, “We have seen so many improvements with Al Marwan in that time. The growth and development have been remarkable.”
Welcoming New Brand Partners
Al Marwan announced the formal inclusion of three new OEM brands — Sinoboom, Cifa, and Astrak — into its inventory, signaling the company’s commitment to diversifying its offerings and meeting market demands.
Cifa Middle East, a leader in concrete pumping systems, marked its return to the regional market through its partnership with Al Marwan. “We waited to find the right partner to make our return to the market,” said Wajih Eit, Cifa Middle East’s General Manager. He highlighted the durability of Cifa’s carbotech material, which is 20% tougher than steel, as evidence of the company’s cutting-edge innovations.
Sinoboom, a Chinese access equipment specialist, also joined the Al Marwan portfolio. Alistair Palacioglu, Regional Director of Sinoboom Middle East and Africa, expressed optimism about the partnership: “Our journey has just started with Al Marwan Machinery. With Al Marwan, we are excited to grow together.”
Recognising Excellence and Innovation
During the event, Powerscreen, a Northern Irish brand and global leader in mobile crushing and screening equipment, celebrated its ongoing partnership with Al Marwan. Dermot McCracken, representing Powerscreen, revealed that Al Marwan had been awarded the company’s “Best Newcomer of the Year” award. He also highlighted Powerscreen’s new AI-enabled software, which complements its industry-leading Chieftain machine. “They’ve saved the best for last,” McCracken joked as he wrapped up his remarks.
Meanwhile, Dynapac highlighted the success of its competitively priced Redline range of road construction equipment. Thierry Leder, representing Dynapac, noted that the product line has grown significantly since its launch four years ago, evolving from a single soil roller to a comprehensive range of equipment.
