Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) has announced the appointment of Asa Alstrom as Head of Brand, Marketing and Communication. In addition to her new leadership role, Alstrom will become a member of the Volvo CE Executive Management Team, contributing to the company’s strategic decision-making at the highest level.
Alstrom has been with Volvo CE for more than 20 years, bringing extensive experience across Communication, Marketing, Sales, Key Account Management, Aftermarket, and Operations. Since 2018, she has served as Head of Strategic Communication, overseeing both internal and external communications on a global scale.
“Brand, Marketing and Communication are essential in supporting the company’s transformation. Asa has extensive experience within Volvo CE and in these areas, and I look forward to working closely with her going forward,” said Melker Jernberg, President of Volvo CE.
Alstrom succeeds Bill Law, who has moved to a new position focusing on the development of the Volvo Group’s defence business. She took up her new responsibilities on 1 April 2026 and is based in Eskilstuna, Sweden.
