Vogele has introduced its latest generation of material feeders, the MT 3000-5 series, marking a significant step forward in paving technology.
Designed to deliver greater efficiency and improved paving quality, the new machines are now being rolled out across global markets, excluding North America and China. Available in both Standard and Offset variants, the upgraded feeders combine proven performance with new operating features and digital integration capabilities.
Material feeders play a vital role in modern road construction by ensuring a continuous, smooth and consistent supply of asphalt to pavers. With the MT 3000-5, Vogele has elevated its established MT 3000 platform to the Dash 5 standard. The new models incorporate the latest ErgoPlus 5 operating system, along with additional comfort functions and enhancements to the PaveDock Assistant communication system. The inclusion of advanced Dash 5 control technology also prepares the machines for future integration with Vogele’s digital solutions, reflecting the increasing importance of connectivity and automation on construction sites.

High performance in quick time
Both the MT 3000-5 Standard and Offset models deliver high performance, with a conveying capacity of up to 1,200 tonnes per hour. They are capable of receiving and transferring a full truckload of asphalt mix in just 60 seconds, helping to maintain a steady paving process. The Offset version adds further versatility through its slewing conveyor, which can pivot up to 55 degrees. This flexibility enables a range of applications, including feeding two pavers in parallel or supporting the InLine Pave method, where multiple paving stages are carried out sequentially.
A refined material handling concept underpins the new generation. The machines feature a large receiving hopper and an efficient conveyor system with integrated heating, allowing rapid unloading and consistent transfer of material. This design helps to minimise temperature loss and prevent segregation of the asphalt mix, both of which are critical to achieving high-quality paving results. Practical considerations have also been addressed: the feeders are designed for ease of maintenance, and both the hopper and ramp geometry have been optimised to simplify transport on low-loader trailers.
Operator experience has been a key focus in the development of the MT 3000-5. The updated ErgoPlus 5 system introduces a more intuitive interface and, for the first time, offers an optional touchscreen display. Additional camera systems can also be integrated, giving operators improved visibility of the machine and its surroundings while allowing closer monitoring of key functions.

Automation enhances usability
Automation features further enhance usability. With the Feed Assist system, operators can switch the machine between transport, repositioning and operating modes at the touch of a button. It is also possible to store and recall specific material conveying programmes, ensuring consistent performance across different jobs.
Meanwhile, the simplified PaveDock Assistant improves communication between the feeder operator and truck drivers. Using clear signal lights, operators can guide vehicles during docking and indicate when to stop. In InLine Pave applications, the system can also signal whether material is required for the binder or surface course, helping to ensure a smooth, efficient and loss-free transfer process.
