Raimondi Middle East has reached a notable milestone in the UAE, with more than 100 cranes now operating across the country, underlining its strong and sustained presence in one of the world’s most dynamic construction markets.
The landmark 100th unit, a Raimondi LR273, has been deployed in one of Dubai’s most culturally significant districts, where it is contributing to the development of a new waterfront residential project. The crane is working alongside two additional Raimondi luffing jib cranes on site. Significantly, this LR273 luffing jib crane is also the first of its model to be installed in the UAE, marking a further step in the company’s regional expansion and technological rollout.
“Reaching over 100 cranes in operation across the UAE, underscores the sustained growth dynamic of the Raimondi Group. Further, this milestone also speaks to the company’s operational strength in one of the world’s most dynamic construction markets,” commented Luigi Maggioni, Chief Executive Officer, Raimondi Group.

Supporting broad spectrum of projects
The company’s active fleet is currently supporting a broad spectrum of projects across the Emirates, ranging from high-rise residential towers to major commercial developments and large-scale infrastructure works. With a firmly established presence in key urban centres across multiple Emirates, Raimondi cranes continue to play an integral role in enabling complex builds and shaping the country’s rapidly evolving skyline.
“Raimondi’s comprehensive range of flat-top and luffing jib cranes continues to demonstrate excellent performance in high density urban environments and on many technically-complex GCC jobsites,” stated Wael Hasan, General Manager, Raimondi Middle East.
In addition to surpassing the 100-crane mark, Raimondi has also achieved a secondary distinction in the region. The company currently counts the highest climbed crane in the Middle East as part of its fleet. The unit, an LR213, was recently climbed to a height of 322 metres under the close supervision and planning of the Raimondi Cranes operations team.

Fully integrated approach
Hasan explained that “this hallmark moment was reached due to a fully integrated approach that goes far beyond equipment supply. Our regional team delivers end-to-end support, from technical studies, planning and installation, to climbing operations, maintenance, and dismantling, ensuring maximum reliability, safety, and performance across every phase of the project lifecycle.”
Building on this momentum, Raimondi confirmed it will continue to invest in its regional operations, further strengthening service capabilities and expanding its footprint through a combination of engineering expertise and a strongly localised approach.
