ALFIRAS has strengthened its construction fleet in Abu Dhabi with the addition of 27 machines and heavy trucks, expanding its capacity to support ongoing civil construction and infrastructure work across the emirate.
The new equipment has been supplied by Al Shirawi Machinery and includes machines from CASE Construction Equipment, Hyundai Construction Equipment and Manitou. The investment covers a mix of equipment, including skid steer loaders, backhoe loaders, wheel loaders, excavators, telehandlers and forklifts.
For ALFIRAS, the expanded fleet is intended to provide greater flexibility across projects, allowing equipment to be deployed according to the changing requirements of individual sites. The combination of earthmoving, excavation, loading and material handling machines also gives the contractor greater scope to manage a wider range of activities with its own resources.
The investment forms part of ALFIRAS’ ongoing strategy of renewing and expanding its equipment base as construction and development activity continues across Abu Dhabi. The company said the additional machinery would help improve productivity, operational efficiency and reliability, while supporting its ability to respond to project demands.
Al Shirawi’s equipment portfolio includes CASE construction machinery and Manitou material handling equipment, while its wider machinery business also supports Hyundai construction equipment in the UAE. The company has expanded its aftersales capabilities alongside its equipment offering, with a focus on parts, service and technical support.
For ALFIRAS, access to a larger and more diverse fleet can help reduce reliance on external equipment hire and provide greater control over machine availability. It can also allow the contractor to match equipment more closely to applications, from earthmoving and excavation to lifting and site logistics.
ALFIRAS has been operating for more than 45 years and is based in Abu Dhabi, where it undertakes construction and development-related work. Its latest fleet investment reflects a continued focus on maintaining modern equipment resources as the emirate’s construction pipeline evolves.
With 27 additional units now joining its operations, the contractor has increased the breadth of machinery available to its teams, strengthening its ability to deploy equipment across multiple projects while maintaining the productivity and reliability required on demanding construction sites across Abu Dhabi.
