Powered access major Haulotte has announced a slew of measures in its home base of France as well as in its facilities around the world to combat the spread of the Coronavirus while keeping as much of its operations open as possible.
The French company said in a statement that “with regards to the Covid-19 pandemic, Haulotte Group has decided” to temporarily “shutdown production in all its French manufacturing facilities: L’Horme factory, Creusot factory and Reims factory“.
“The continuation of our distribution and service activities (will be) in strict compliance with the health measures required locally,” the statement said, adding that the Haulotte Group has undertaken “all health prevention measures at our distribution sites to allow operational continuity as necessary regarding the activity”.
Among the measures that Haulotte has taken are rigorous telework on French territory for all activities that allow for it; maintaining communication with all its customers and partners; and active and supportive contribution to prevent and contain the spread of the virus, said the company.
“Haulotte group is not in position to date to determine the global impact that this health crisis of unprecedented proportions will have on our industrial, commercial and financial performance. You can count on the mobilisation and commitment of all our teams to implement the most appropriate solutions in this unprecedented context,” said the group’s statement, while thanking its customers and partners and expressing confidence that “together we will overcome this ordeal”.
