Kuwait-based lifting and heavy equipment specialist Marat National has expanded its crane fleet with the addition of five 130-tonne XCMG cranes, strengthening its ability to support major industrial, oil and gas, infrastructure and construction projects across the country.
The latest investment includes XCMG XCA130H all-terrain cranes and QY130KH truck-mounted cranes, both offering a maximum lifting capacity of 130 tonnes. The new equipment is expected to enhance Marat National’s operational flexibility, allowing the company to undertake a wider range of lifting activities in demanding project environments.
The delivery comes as Kuwait continues to invest in energy, petrochemical and infrastructure developments, driving demand for modern heavy lifting solutions capable of supporting complex construction and maintenance requirements.
All-terrain cranes such as the XCA130H combine road mobility with heavy lifting capability, enabling faster mobilisation between project sites, while truck-mounted cranes offer additional flexibility for transport and general lifting applications. These capabilities are increasingly important for contractors and service providers operating across multiple locations and project types.
