Abu Dhabi-based equipment supply powerhouse, NFT Specialized in Tower Cranes, has been recognised by Manitowoc for its sales performance in 2016, during which it sold 122 Potain tower cranes in the Middle East.
Manufacturer Manitowoc, which owns the Potain brand, held a special ceremony for NFT at this year’s Conexpo exhibition in Las Vegas, with a toast and commemoration to celebrate the success of the Middle East’s premier Potain dealer.
NFT also expanded its fleet at the show by purchasing three new Potain tower cranes: an 11t MR 160, a 15.4t MR 225 and a 22t MR 295. According to Manitowoc, all three cranes will aid NFT’s customers in meeting the challenges of crowded job sites with tight working quarters.
With more than 1,500 tower cranes in its fleet, NFT has a presence in several locations throughout the Middle East and Africa, as well as in Asia, Europe and Australia. Apart from tower cranes, the company is also a dealer of passenger and material hoists, and various other equipment categories.
NFT also achieved other successes in 2016 besides its performance with Potain. The company earlier said it had also been recognised by Samsung C&T, a major construction company in the GCC and worldwide, for its performance during the year, receiving a certificate of excellence from the Korean heavyweight for its contributions and its commitment to safety, quality and team work.
