Chinese equipment major SANY celebrated a key moment in its ongoing collaboration with Mohammad Abdullah Al Areedh Ltd. Co. earlier this month with the delivery of 20 newly manufactured 50-tonne truck cranes.
The delivery of the fleet took place at a formal ceremony held at Al Areedh’s principal operations hub in Jubail on April 8.
According to SANY, the newly delivered fleet is designed for agility and strong performance and is expected to be swiftly deployed across major project sites, providing a boost to the Kingdom’s expanding infrastructure and industrial sectors.
SANY added that this latest delivery builds on earlier successes between the two firms. Prior to the arrival of the 50-tonne units, SANY had already supplied two 900-tonne all-terrain cranes, which are now fully operational. The manufacturer revealed that these “powerful machines have been assigned to prominent, large-scale projects throughout Saudi Arabia, where their impressive lifting capabilities, efficiency, and stability in demanding environments have made a noticeable impact”, adding that project teams have responded positively, citing consistent and reliable on-site performance.
“The partnership (between SANY and Al Areedh) reflects more than just equipment supply. It represents a broader strengthening of trust and cooperation, as Al Areedh continues to expand its heavy lifting and rental services with advanced machinery. From flagship high-capacity cranes to versatile mid-range units, the collaboration demonstrates a shared commitment to operational excellence,” said a statement from the manufacturer.
In addition to delivering cutting-edge equipment, SANY said that is also investing in comprehensive local support services. Through an established service network, the company aims to ensure long-term reliability and value, while contributing to the transformative ambitions outlined in Saudi Vision 2030.
